Ed Hall | Director of Business Development
In my family, we’ve always worked together: My dad builds houses, my mom sells them, my uncle is a developer, and my brother works in finance around real estate. I used to spend my spring breaks digging ditches for foundation pours in North Carolina, thinking to myself, one of us has to design it all.
It wasn’t until I traveled to Europe when I was 20 that I truly committed to a life of design. Somewhere between the winding streets of Seville and the steps of Gaudi’s Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, my mind was blown. How those buildings have lasted over time, the way you can tell a story through architecture — it all clicked for me.
As a designer, I always strive to create lasting work, to shape the places we live and communicate together. In some ways, it all goes back to the idea of building the right foundations. As the Director of Business Development, I work on the same principles — our best projects are built on our strongest relationships — I am pouring the foundations.
