A few nights ago, we joined Interior Design for their One Night Only event in SF with fellow designers and firms. Cindy Allen, editor-in-chief of Interior Design, led the town hall discussion. It was held at Heroku, a South-of-Market brick & timber project that we recently completed. As an honoree in the 2014 Best of Year Awards Large Tech Office category, the venue was also a perfect setting for the release of ID’s March issue titled: Big Ideas.
Rapt Senior Designer, Lucas Martin, took the floor with Cindy to talk about the Heroku design and some of its details. The town hall discussion emphasized the fact that people have more design sense now than ever before and how important it is to design for personalities, not generations.
“You must have fire and sell your design with conviction, fight for it!”, that’s one takeaway we can all agree with.
Look out for exclusive photos of the Heroku project coming soon to Interior Design Magazine.
